The snow has fallen
covering the earth with
a stillness unlike no other.
Distant faint giggles
emerge in the wind
between the thomping
sounds of snowballs
landing after flight.
The Pureness of a heavenly
nature has taken place
and hearts sing a simple peace.

Thank you for your comments. I wrote 'Calm' when my son was about 9ish and I'm glad that I recorded & captured that moment. Who knew that mister heat myzzer was waiting to appear! Smile
